I put them off for weeks of course because they are the worst thing to sit thru - even the good ones, it's rather a drag to listen to person after person talk about the same topic, when you have to pay attention and grade 400 components/skills at the same time.
But thankfully only about 2/3 of my students submitted them and of those only about 2/3 submitted them in the correct format so that I can listen to them! How thoughtful!
So it's only taking about 1/2 as long as I thought to grade them. Pretty bad when you are glad your students are lame. But at least it's the one time when it is useful rather than just being sad and disappointing or infuriating like usual.
