oh bite the big one

Oh go ahead and give me your eyerolly looks because the fricking test is still not graded. Whatever, I got 4 tons of work done this week and there are another 4 tons or so left and the tests happen to be in the remaining tonnage. Too bad for you. Why are you so anxious to see how crappy you did in the first place? I can tell without even looking at them yet that no one has any laurels whatsoever to rest on in our approach to finals. Why can't you all just assume you need to study your ass off? Especially since the second test had more material on it and the first one was so bad I curved it (for the first time ever in 2020)? Am I really the only one for whom it's a foregone conclusion that everyone needs to work harder than ever before?

Of course this is the class where 10 out of 13 people felt the need to use English last week in our class-opening exercise of recapping the previous night's pastimes. If they're deluded enough to think that is acceptable then I guess they're deluded enough to think they might get some miracle grade on the test.
