Hmmm... What about me told Candy in my 9h that I would welcome her ultrasound photos spread all over my table in the classroom completely unbidden? Granted I'm one of the few people in the world who doesn't go ga-ga at the slightest mention of baby pix, let alone their viewing, but am I wrong to think that ultrasound images are a different animal? To me they are only interesting to relatives and doctors, and sometimes not the former. And even if I'm wrong about the public at large and its disinterest in ultrasound shots, I still don't think it's something that one should just force on anyone without asking, much less their instructor.
I honestly couldn't think of a thing to say. I fanned thru them as quickly as I could and still make it seem like I was indeed perusing, and finally said, "Wow! So you all must be getting pretty excited, huh?"
Good cover, eh? Luckily pregnant people are often too deliriously happy to notice that one is just being polite and really would like to be looking at pretty much anything but ultrasounds.
Kinda made me want to find some drugs on the ground to try...

Sounds like she will turn into one of those people who are always gushing over their kids. One of my aunts always manages to turn a conversation into what her children are doing in life, no matter what the topic or the occasion is. She could be at someone's funeral and still find a way to show off photos of her kids to the bereaved. Some people just don't get it.
Too right! :)
